• Challengers are based on the British Challenger MK 2 MBT, which are tied with the US M1 Abrams as the best tanks in the world at this time.
• Challengers in War Commander, unlike in real life, function more like Tank Destroyers than Tanks, though it still excels at both roles.
• Since the upgrade of the 23 May 2013 the skin of the Challenger has been changed.
