How to capture the new Giant Thorium


First bait out the two suicide trucks and the behemoth. Then, hit SE Flak Turret with 5 Hellstorms and 7 Elite Hellfires. After that, switched to NW Flak Turret and repeated. Next, use your tanks preferably Elite Mega baits with Collosus for SW cyro turret . After Cyro Turret destroyed, use Hellstorms and Elite Hellfires to destroyed the flak turret behind it, either by baiting mortar with Collosus or with the right angle. Afterwards, hit the Machine Gun Turret that was behind the NW flak turret with Hellstorm and Elite Hellfire, staying just out of mortar and cyro range. Remember to put a hercules for fire taking by the sniper in bunker. Then, hit the Machine Gun Turret that was at the SW with Collosus as bait for the mortar, splash damage can kill both Mortar and MGT Turret. Do the same for NW mortar with your baiting using Collosus. After destroyed all the turret, use your Hellstorms and Cobra to hit the plasma turret. Missile to protect your Cobra, then the plasma turret will eventually destroyed. Repeat it on other side. Finally for the 4 bunkers, use any high level tanks with bait like Collosus or ERM in front, try to separate it to take up the fire to destroy using Rubi On.

Air Build

Basically war commander is a war game mainly involved tanks. So for those aiming to be different and would like to try for using their air as their main attacking force would be rather skeptical as anti-air is increasing in great numbers. This guide would discuss as how to focus your build using air as your main attack force.

From level 1-20, your main resources would be level 5 rogue with cobra. Don't try to farm higher level rogue as level 5 rogue which clear only command center and hope for the best bonus usually enough for your resources need.Try to upgrade your tech center as soon as possible so that you able to build cobra. For the first 8 level, your mission reward mainly enough to accommodate all your resources needs. Just follow through all the mission and build accordingly. Once your tech center reach level 4, you'll able to unlock and upgrade your cobra. Concentrate your command center till level 4 at least. Three most important buildings to upgrade others than command center would be your tech center, defense lab and academy as these buildings dictate your units level and defense turret.After you've reach about level 6 and above for your cobra, try to concentrate on your buggy and razorback to level 8.

With those 3 units, in any attacking event you'll probably able to spam until you unlocked Hellstorm once you reach around level 20-23.Try to maxed your cobra to level 11 before level 25. It'll be your main rogue farming on level 25 rogue once you reach level 20. Don't worry about the thorium needed as you can ask help from higher level in chat for a Giant Thorium. Once you have Hellstorm, try to maxed it as it's very useful in farming rogue and clearing sickle base for sickle units. Hellstorm is very useful in PvP when you're low level as most low level don't have defense for air that good enough to stop this unit. Therefore you can run through most base with 5 level 1-3 Hellstorm. To maintain your dominance in battle, you need to level up your tank to support your air in clearing watch tower or flak tank in higher level bases.

Additional Facts

  • Introduced in Operation: Halcyon.
  • The Halcyon is the third Unit overall and the first Air Unit that can fire on targets while moving.  The other two Units to have this ability are the Flame Assault Vehicle and the Elite Humvee.
  • At Level 6 the Halcyon optains a speed of 2.5.  This allows it to overtake all Vehicles, except the Suicide Truck Elite and the FAV which it matches in speed. 
  • The Halcyon's speed of 2.5 makes it the 3rd fastest Air Unit ( non-strafing ) behind the L7+ Reaper Drone at 3.0 and L10+ Copter Drone at 2.6.  However, the Halcyon has the ability to fire while on the move which makes it excel at hunting ground targets that are running away. 
  • Combined with a slightly higher speed of 2.6 and the ability to fire upon Air Units makes the Valkyrie andElite Valkyrie ( both Level 6 and up ) a very substantial threat to the Halcyon.

Additional information

  • Introduced in the Special Event Operation: Hellstorm
  • Heinrich Von Kreuger has taken the Hellfire design and modified it by taking a single large Hellfire Missile and attaching it under the skids of a Helicopter. This essentially makes it an airborne version of his Hellfire Tank.
  • Even at Level 1 the Hellstorm out ranges all Turrets that can fire at Air Units.
  • With a Defense Bonus Enhanced Range of 468, the Level 10 Flak Tanks out range all levels of the Hellstorm.
  • Starting at Level 10 the Elite Riflemen when placed in a Watchtowers will out range all levels of the Hellstorm.
  • It has the Longest Range of any Air Unit except the Raptor.  However the Raptor is a strafing attacker which effectively nullifies its Range advantage.
  • At Level 10 the Missile fired from the Hellstorm splits into multiple smaller missiles as it approaches the target. This is the same characteristic as found on with missiles from the Elite Hellfire.
  • As with with all Hellfire Missiles they can be shot down by any Unit or Turret that can fire at Air Units except the Flak Tank & Turret.
  • As of June 27, 2013 the Repair Time & Cost has been Reduced by 40% from the previous amounts.
